About Us...
Dwy is a dynamic flute duo made up of sisters Enlli & Lleucu.
The duo specialise in a wide variety of styles, from classical to folk and from pop to musicals, creating the atmosphere best suited for whatever the occasion.
Friendly and professional, the sisters’ aim is to provide an enjoyable experience bringing a unique musical touch to any event.
Dwy have extensive experience in arranging their own music, being particularly interested in electronics. They arrange for flute, alto flute and piccolo, and their innovative collaborations give them an unique and fresh sound that will not fail to bring enjoyment.
Enlli
Enlli graduated with a first class honours BMus degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Concert Recital Diploma for exceptional performance in her final recital before returning and gaining a Distinction in her Masters Degree in 2020. Following her graduation Enlli had a busy freelance schedule playing with many different orchestras including the Orchestra of The Royal Opera House, The Orchestra of Opera North, Welsh Chamber Orchestra and the British Sinfonietta. She currently holds the 2nd flute seat at the Welsh National Opera.

Enlli is a winner of the Urdd Gobaith Cymru Bryn Terfel Scholarship and has been very grateful for the support she has received from The Arts Council of Wales, The Leverhulme Trust, The Countess of Munster Musical Trust, The Ryan Davies Memorial Fund, The Craxton Memorial Trust, The James Pantyfedwen Foundation & The Split Infinitive Trust.
Lleucu
Lleucu graduated with an Mmus in Flute Performance from the Royal Welsh College
of Music and Drama, studying under John Hall, Sarah Bennington, Roger Armstrong
and Sarah Newbold. While studying for her master’s degree Lleucu became
interested in the workings of her flute. She has since trained as an instrument repairer
at the Trevor Head Brass and Woodwind Instrument Repair School, and has had
1 to 1 training with expert woodwind technician Daniel Bangam at Cambridge Woodwind Makers. Lleucu now specialises in Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone repairs, alongside her playing and teaching career.

As a performer Lleucu has toured Wales with OPRA Cymru, and has performed with
many ensembles including Cardiff Opera, Cardiff Concert Orchestra, Ignite Symphony Orchestra and the Fulltone Orchestra. While at RWCMD Lleucu was a finalist for the
Urdd Gobaith Cymru Bryn Terfel Scholarship and the National Eisteddfod’s
instrumental Blue Ribbon competition. She has been supported by the James
Pantyfedwen Foundation, the SWEF Enterprise Fund, Leonard and Marian Jones Distinguished Music Award, Worshipful Livery Company of Wales and Split Infinitive
Trust, and is very grateful for their support.
